Xaaraantinimada in loo dabaaldego maalinta jaceylka W/Q Maxammed Ibraahim Cawad
February 12, 2012 - Written byLondon:-Mahad idaylkeed Allaah subxaanahu watacaalaa bay u sugnaatay, nabadgalayo iyo naxariisna ha gaadho rasuulkeenii Maxammed Calayhi salaatu wasalaam iyo inta raacday jidkiisii suubanaa ilaa maantinda dambe ee Allaah swt loo noqonayo.Maalinta aanu ka digayno in loo dabaaldagaa waa maalin dhibka ay la iman karto in loo dabaaldagaa aanu ahayn mid yar, ama dadka qaarkiis haku doodaan waa maalinta jacaylka oo dhib badani kuma jiro, ama hala yiraahdo waa mid aan lagaga dayanaynin gaalo, amase halagu sheego arimo kale, waxa cad in arin walba oo qofka islaamka ahi uu la imanayo inay tahay mid uu ka haysto daliil xaga Aayaadka Quraanka ah ama Sunnadda Rasuulka CSW. Arin walba oo aan labadaasi aanay ogolayn, ku qornayn in la samaynayo, amase ka soo horjeedaan wuxuu noqonayaa mid laga keenay meel kale, sidaan ognahayna waxyaalaha laga keenay meelaha kale badankood oo ay ka mid tahay ixtifaalka ciidaha waa kuwo lagu mudanayo cadaab xagga Allaah ka timaada.
Badanka dadka u dabaaldega maalintaan waa dadka soomaaliyeed ee dhalinyarada u badan kuna sugan qurbaha, sidaa darteed baan qoraalkaan diyaariyay si ay walaalaha wax ku fahma luuqadda Ingiriisigu ugu baraarugaan khatarta iyo meesha uu islaamku dhigay u dabaaldega maalinta jacaylka.
Qoraalka waxaan u diyaariyay hab ah inaan ka soo qaaday akhristuhu inuu la socdo waxyaabo badan, marka ma aanan dheeraynin inaan sharax ka bixiyo waxyaabo badan oo u baahan in la sharaxo.
Hadii ay qormaddayda ku jiraan wax aan khalday oo aan ku garab maray Aayaadka Quraanka iyo Sunnada Rasuulka calayhi salaatu wasalaam waxay ka yimaadeen naftayda iyo shaydaan, wixii aan asiibay oo toosiyayna waxay ka sugnaadeen xagga Allaah subxaanahu watacaalaa iyo rasuulkiisa, waana uga mahad celinayaa Allaah subxanaahu watacaalaa inuu I waafajiyay qoritaankoodda.

Introduction.
All praise is for Allah, the Lord of the Worlds (mankind, jinn and all creation); peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad (the son of ‘Abdullah) and upon his wives and companions and upon all those who follow his way until the end of days. All thanks and praise is due to Allah, who guided us to His great religion, for it is by His grace that we are Muslims.
Many people celebrate Valentine’s Day, which falls on the fourteenth of February every year; they do so by exchanging red rose sand gifts. They also dress up in red clothing and congratulate one another on this occasion. Certain bakeries and confectioners produce special sweets for the occasion which are red in colour and have hearts upon them. Other shops advertise goods that are sold exclusively for this event.
The questions that therefore arise are: What are the Islamic rulings regarding:
A – Celebrating this day?
B – Buying from the shops that have these special items which are sold for this event?
C – Shop owners who are not celebrating this event selling items that can be used as gifts by those who are celebrating it?
The ruling
“The clear evidence from the Quran and Sunnah, and this is agreed upon by consensus of the early Muslim generations, confirms that there are only two Eid’s (days of celebration) in Islam: Eid al-Fitr (after the fast of Ramadan) and Eid al-Adh-haa(after the standing at ‘Arafah for pilgrimage).
Every other Eid, whether related to a person, group, incident or any other occasion, is an innovated Eid. It is not permissible for Muslims to participate in it, approve of it, make any show of happiness on its occasion, or assist others to do so, in any way; to do so would be to transgress the bounds of Allaah Who Says what means: “…And whoever transgresses the limits of Allaah has certainly wronged himself… ” [Quran: 65:1]
وَمَن يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ
If we add to this that the fabricated Eid in question is in fact one of the Eid’s of the disbelievers, then it becomes a case of sin piled upon sin. This is because its celebration entails imitation of the disbelievers and thereby showing them a form of loyalty. In the Quran, Allaah has emphatically prohibited the believers from imitating, loving or being loyal to the disbelievers, in any way. It is also confirmed from the Prophet that he said: “Whoever imitates a people is one of them.”
من تشبه بقوم فهو منهم
Valentine’s Day comes under the category of what has been mentioned here, since it is a pagan and polytheistic holiday. Hence it is not permissible for any Muslim who claims to believe in Allaah and the Last Day to participate in it, approve of it, or congratulate anyone on its occasion. Moreover, it is obligatory to abandon it and distance oneself from it in response to the command of Allaah and His Messenger so that one may thereby be distanced from the anger of Allaah and His punishment.
Additionally, it is forbidden for a Muslim to assist or help in this Eid, or any other forbidden or illicit celebration, in any way whatsoever, whether by eating or drinking, selling or buying, production, gift-giving, correspondence, announcements, or any other means. All of these things are considered cooperating in sin and transgression and disobedience to Allaah and His Messenger. Allaah the Glorious and Most High Says what means: “…And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and transgression. And fear Allaah; Indeed Allaah is severe in penalty.”[Quran: 5:2]
Also, it is obligatory for every Muslim to adhere strictly to the Quran and Sunnah in every situation and at all times, especially in times of temptation and corruption. It is incumbent that he or she understand, be aware and be cautioned from falling into the deviations of those whom Allaah is angry with (i.e., the Jews) and those who are astray (i.e., the Christians) and other immoral people who have no fear of punishment or hope of reward from Allaah, and who give no recognition at all to Islam.
It is necessary for the Muslim to flee to Allaah, the Most High, seeking His firm guidance upon the true path. Indeed there is no Guide except Allaah, and none can grant firmness except Him, and Success is from Him.
I would like to finish this subject by calling all of those who does wrong to their life’s and shaytan has overpowered their emotions to repent to Almighty Allaah SWT , Our prophet said in a hadith in Saheeh A Tirmidhee :
Anas (radhiallahu anhu) said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) say: “Allah the Exalted said: “O son of Adam! As long as you invoke Me and plead to Me, I will forgive you whatever you have committed, and I will not make much of it. O son of Adam! If your evil deeds reach the borders of the sky, and then you ask Me for forgiveness, I will forgive you. O son of Adam! If you bring forth the earth full of errors, then you meet Me while you do not associate anything (or anyone) with Me, I will bring forth for you its full of forgiveness.” [At-Tirmidhee (Shaikh Albanee rendered it as Hasan)]
